Finish your data, then write your conclusion and abstract.
The conclusion has 3 parts:
1) What did you find? (______ does or does not affect ____). Give evidence from your data (such as 7 of the 10 people preferred or did better on _____ kind of thing, or the average was higher). This should be 2-4 sentences.
2) What went wrong? Every experiment has problems. Hint: there were even some errors in yours. List them in 1-2 sentences.
3) What would you do differently next time? You don't have to do your experiment again, but if you or someone else did, what would you do to avoid the errors in step 2? Write about it in 2-4 sentences.
Don't use the word "I". Say like "This experiment had several errors" and "Next time it is recommended that"
When you are done with your conclusion, write your abstract. This is 5-6 sentences:
1) A 1-2 sentence summary of your introduction. 2) Your purpose: "The purpose of this experiment is to determine if ____ affects ____. 3) What you found and why: "______ did/did not affect ______ because ________.
